Service

that satisfies every desire.

We develop concepts where the results are examined, measured, and analyzed in fine detail. In our production and in our in-house inspection laboratory, we consider every detail for as long as it takes to fulfill all customer wishes with certainty.

Overview of Our Services

Inspection and Measurement Technology
Static Testing

We use two Galdabini force/displacement testers for static testing with a maximum test force of 50 kN (Quasar 50) for small loads and a maximum load of 200 kN (Quasar 200). Our tests are done in a climate-controlled laboratory, including in varying temperatures if necessary.

Dynamic Testing

We have two Instron testing machines at our disposal. With both having a maximum axial load of 10 kN at a maximum amplitude of ±30 mm, they are both suitable for endurance testing. Our dynamic testing is done in a climate-controlled laboratory, including in varying temperatures if necessary.

Tactile Measurement

A mobile 3D measuring arm from Faro enables dimension checks for individual, small components and tactile measurement for larger components as well as test device calibration – including on our customer’s premises if necessary.

Optical Measurement

Our mobile 3D measurement arm from Nikon is suitable for a combination of tactile and optical measurement. It enables precise component measurement. Based on the digitized point clouds, an individualized analysis can be performed in a variety of measurement programs. It is also possible to reverse-engineer the geometries.

Leak Testing

For component leak tests, we have a mobile individual leak detector. It detects forming gas (5% hydrogen, 95% nitrogen), letting components be checked quickly and cost-effectively.

Thermal Analysis

Thanks to a mobile infrared camera for industrial applications, we have in-house capabilities to perform thermal analyses of specific use cases. The system consists of two precision thermal IR cameras which enable automated and manual imaging as well as a subsequent evaluation.

Impact Testing

An impact test is required for many automotive and aviation applications. We have a drop tower at our disposal for this purpose. It makes it possible to study the desired impact energies thanks to the different geometries of the impactor and varying drop height.

Approval of Aviation Components
QTP Qualification Testing

For each qualification test procedure (QTP), we create a qualification test plan listing all the requirements for the component. The customer’s requirements are matched to the respective aircraft type and installation location. International standards (DIN EN) or guidelines (RTCA/DO-160) are additionally listed, too.

Planning and Performing Component Testing

Before any component qualification, we coordinate with the customer the costs (NRCs), milestone plan (MSP), and plan for the tests, right down to the test report. Our engineering team takes care of the preparation of the test jig for the relevant test. This includes static and dynamic load tests, corrosion/liquid tests, and vibration tests.

Qualification Test Report (QTR)

Each qualification is documented by our experts and coordinated with the customer. If necessary, the qualification is accompanied by memorandums (memos) or special test reports (TRs). Finally, we create a qualification test report (QTR) for the entire component qualification.

Construction of Jigs and Fixtures
Test Devices for Chassis Components

We use sophisticated test rigs for careful advance testing of chassis components. The design, engineering, production, and calibration of these test rigs is part of our know-how. Our team uses semiaxis test rigs, substitute kinematic test rigs, and test rigs for multiple tests.

General Test Devices

To test a wide variety of components, we develop and manufacture the necessary adaptations and devices. This makes it possible to perform static or dynamic testing on the components.

Initial Samples and Small Series

Producing initial samples cost-effectively and in a timely manner is one of our strengths. Moreover, we are able to supply small-series parts.

Engineering and Calculations
CAD (3D/2D)

The first model is created during the engineering phase, in close coordination with the customer and taking account of existing installation space data. Our range of services includes 3D engineering, installation space analysis, kinematic analysis, and conversion into drawings in common programs such as Catia v5.

FEM Strength Calculation

We can perform linear and nonlinear simulation in accordance with the project specifications at our location. We have tools such as Nastran, MarcMentat, and Catia for this.

FKM Strength Assessment

If desired, we can perform a strength assessment on components in accordance with the FKM guidelines. We use the Rifest software for this.

Reverse Engineering

There is strong demand for reverse-engineering partial geometries or complete components from digitized point clouds or warpage models from injection mold simulations. We are able to convert partial geometries or, if desired, full components into a 3D model from a digitized point cloud.

Rapid Prototyping
Rapid Prototyping

Using our in-house 3D printer, we are able to deliver initial hand samples in an extremely short time. Producing initial samples cost-effectively and in a timely manner is one of our strengths. The same applies to supplying small-series parts.
